My biggest and best video yet! The full restoration of one of the closest things we have to an antique in the sport of paintball! A rare early-generation maker that was only made from around 1986 to late 1987, and is so rare today that few players have even heard of it, let alone actually used one.

Making a set of wood grips!

Yup, I do a little woodworking on occasion, too!

Client sent in a semi-rare Carter Machine stock-class pump, and due to the unusual shape of the grip frame, I convinced him he needed a set of custom grip panels to match. :)

Took a lot of extra time on this video- still not perfect, but we're getting there.

Here's where the our two versions really started to diverge. :)

Kathy wanted to slip in a paintball scene, since these are, after all, the TWB players. And initially I loved the idea- a sort of steampunk-themed paintball game could be a lot of fun.

But the more I thought about it, and especially given some of the upcoming plot points...

As has become tradition, I have no proper New Year's resolution,  since at the best of times they last maybe a day and a half, anyway.

Except that one year I resolved to finally stop trying to throw myself at Scarlet Johansson, that one's holding up well. :)

This  year's non-resolution, then, is More Of The Same. I hope to ...

The second panel, which I turned into a full-width image and went full Don Martin on the stabbery, was based off a famous drawing used in one of the very early Holmes books. Kathy provided me with several such pictures that she'd found online, as well as basing several of her own sketches on them.
