Naruto had heard of these, mostly a wild tribe of demons who hunt in packs, with no real kingdom, but definitely a large territory that many find difficult to roam, as it is considered a wild land, filled with monstrous beasts, hunted by the hell hounds.

He listens to the rest of the story, about how they were overwhelmed and several of the crew were taken, including Hinata, and an exhausted Temari, too worn out to defend herself.

The rest of his group had decided to go and rescue them that morning, and were yet to return.

Naruto was not going to stand there and wait; despite the long day, he had not expended a lot of energy.

Ino joined him as they headed deep in to the forest that lay off the beach; a dark thick environment that Naruto wasn’t used to, as many of the lands he had traversed had been open, or surrounding a road he travelled along.

The hell hounds around them, quickly withdrew, frightened, as the energy glowed brighter, until they were a silhouette of light, and their forms were pulled together and grew in to an indistinct shape.

When the light vanished, Naruto was met by a dog like beast four times his height, and with three heads, more dog like this time, with large razor sharp teeth, and a single claw the thickness of his body.

Naruto looked up, and just frowned, and without a word, he leapt from the ground, upper cutting the middle head of the Cerberus form with enough power that the impact resounded across the entire area, and lifted the beast up off of its paws six feet, before it fell back down again.

The Cerberus growled as it tried to keep its balance, the middle head definitely looking dizzy.
