I love the style and design of this anime! Plus, Kenichi and Little Blondie are both so extremely likeable!

Also I love any characters that's voiced by Chris Sabat (the Karate Master in the Dojo) the voice of Vegeta, Piccolo, Zoro and so much moro.

And I REALLY liked the manga, so I was pretty excited for an adaptation. Maybe the studio didn't put in as much effort because it's not exactly mainstream and they weren't expecting success? I don't know. Edit: Maybe it also has something to do with not being a particularly faithful adaptation, now that I've watched the episode xD
