Apple Store Billing Changes

Apple is requiring Patreon to use its in-app purchasing system for purchases and memberships made on the iOS/Apple Patreon App starting November 2024. New memberships purchased in the Apple/iOS App will be subject to Apple’s 30% App Store Fee. This change will not impact current and existing memberships as long as you stay subscribed.
This fee will only applies to NEW memberships purchased through the iOS App beginning November 2024. If you are an existing member you will be unaffected.
How Does This Affect Patreon Users?
If you happen to unsubscribe and want to rejoin at a later time or are a new member subscribing, from November 2024 and you use the Apple/iOS Patreon app to join, Apple will be charging you an additional minimum 30% plus taxes. This is an Apple charge, not a Patreon platform charge, and not a charge I personally add; it’s an Apple/iOS charge.
For existing members, if you plan to unsubscribe and rejoin later Patreon or new members it is in your best interest to use a web browser on Android store.
