2024-10-27 17:11:18 +0000 UTCI feel you. This episode hurts so much. Because of the traps all the characters are falling into. They are all struggling and can’t get out. Instead sinking deeper into it. While Jack making all this new promises to Boss to save his Grandma he could just tell Joke ALL of the conditions. Joke is still bonded to Jack by two promises he desperately wants to keep: no crime and not leaving until the school is build. And to keep these promises while knowing that breaking one or the other would help them out of this terrible circle is eating him up. Jack really should have talked a little bit more. Just the sentence „boss don’t won’t you around me or he will do terrible things to gramma or you or me“ would have been enough. But he chose to hurt Joke to drive him away (while jokes promise binds him still) . And that hurt me! Poor decision Jack. And we are not talking about Save or I’ll murder someone. His negotiation skills are subzero. For all this info and acting he could have at least asked for his own debts be payed off - we already know Hope likes his job so freeing Hope is not really an option here. I want to hug War through the screen. He can act as the hurt little baby so well. I think the only solution (if we don’t want joke to break his promises) is to tell Rose the whole blackmailing Jack with the health of his gramma-story. She probably will order Nan back or do something else good. If Rose would knew that all the mess Jack is in now is just because of Nan playing matchmaker for her she would probably be furious, right? I hope so. And I really really hope that they give us a ray of Sunshine next Monday. This episode was harsh.
