While this was the 'car accident moment' for Yotha, we should keep in mind that although Arc displayed some tough behavior, he hadn't actually faced any trauma (at least from what we've seen in the show, as I haven't read the books). It makes sense that he would grasp things quicker. Yotha has endured significant trauma and probably needed all these experiences to truly understand everything, even though, in my view, he's been in love with Gun from the very beginning.
I'm not here to defend Wa, but I really empathize with Klao, and I’m so glad that Yotha felt that strong urge to help find him. Klao, even when he viewed Yotha as his opponent, didn't hesitate to have his back in a fight against others. He even covered for Gun while they were in danger even though he barely knew him. Klao (at least in the show) may be hot-headed but genuinely seems to have a kind heart... much like Yotha. It seems like Wa definitely has a type!

I see your point. If he hadn't told us in the last episode he was holding on to Gun to he found a new world I would agree. For me any interaction with Gun is still a level of holding on but you make a good point. I think klao has anger issues the same as Yotha just comes out in different ways. I really wonder why Wa chooses partners with anger issues and then claims he doesn't like them to be angry.

I loved this episode but I had problems with it at the same time. I wish we got to spend more time on Gun’s trauma because it felt like it was supposed to be more serious than it turned out to be. I guess because they wanted to focus more on Yotha’s fear of love they just BLed Gun’s trauma away so that they could “solve it” in one episode.
Kelly I get what you were saying about Klao but I was also thinking about why would he seek out the guys that beat them up the last time? When he had that disagreement with Wa at his house, it wasn’t because of the big fight. It was about those guys finding him and a separate fight ensuring. So when the last fight happened, I don’t think it was Klao going out to fight them. I think he might’ve been trying to make his way to the bar and they happen to be there. Even though it pains me to say this because I’m not the biggest fan of Wa and Klaos relationship, but I don’t think Wa contacting Yotha to pull him back in. I think he was asking him a genuine question because he was worried about his boyfriend safety. Because of the topic Yotha could tell the difference and that was a big reason why he invited Gun along this time. Sorry for rambling on.
