yeah ... the whole thing with the guy who was the "prize" and then "punished" for helping the snakes get stolen ... that was a lot. I already knew what we were getting with these characters because of book spoilers .... but I still didn't like those 2 scenes and what they obviously implied. However, for the rest of the series, they did soften or change the book events for the better, when necessary.
