The father doesn't seem all that smart to me either. Just rich and self absorbed and so many of those folks label themselves smart while letting everyone else do all of the actual work.

I am loving this show and your reactions. Offroad is amazing, I love how we can see so many different sides to his character. I don't like this Jason guy, but sometimes the messier a show is the more fun it can be too. I still don't get why Chet gets chance after chance after chance from his father; yet Pheem gets kicked out after 1 thing. After last week's episode I thought Chet is going to be killed and we'll have to find out who did it because it just seemed to me the scene where he threw coffee in his sister's face was like; this character has now had horrible encounters with every other character so there's no shortage of people wanting to kill him. I may be in the minority but I don't see the bodyguard and Chet. I don't know why. I feel like there's something more on the bodyguard's side, like a different interest. Maybe I'm just not paying attention as well. I still don't know Pheem's end game. Is it just to take over the hospital and discredit Chet and maybe his dad. Or is there more. Because Chet's end game seems to be kill Pheem. Seems like a drastic difference to me. Lastly, it makes me laugh that the dad is supposed to be so smart and scary but as far as I can see he only finds out about what is happening when one of the three children brings something to his attention. Shouldn't he know more or be 10 steps ahead of them. I just think it's kind of weird. And since that's the case, it might be easier to find something from his past to use against him since he doesn't seem as smart as wants
