That part at the end was so interesting. I think they were all testing themselves by getting together ... acting like they were fine and talking like the past didn't matter, trying to rile each other up for different reasons. But when they parted, when their party faces fall, they are all miserable. None of them wanted to be there. I wonder what would have happened had WSW not encouraged CC to meet up with Wang Shuo to get closure? WS told GCY that he'd already been there for 6 months already .... did you catch that WS knew to ask about them dating a Master/Apprentice pair? How did he know about that? My guess is that even if GCY hadn't crossed paths with WS randomly that day, WS would have still shown up at some point.
