You know when you hike 2 miles to find a mud volcano along a flooded swampy road only to find midway that the trail has been covered in marshland? Ugh. We've all been there. Those are photos 6-8.
The rest of these pics are from our upcoming mud puddle video! I know I mentioned our recent trip out to the Salton Sea for my next video about a... mud puddle. I realize it seems like I'm running out of ideas, but I promise this puddle is FASCINATING! Here are some fun behind the scenes photos of our day hiking through the mud and getting access to this slow-moving natural disaster thanks to Caltrans, who have had to entire close this part of the road all because of this strange, surprisingly dangerous pot of mud.
This video has been a MONSTER to edit (and we got interrupted by a 2-week road trip AHH sorry, spoilers!), but it'll be live this week.
