We'll be seeing a bit of fighting soon, and I'm kind of a loser, so I put together a little chart for the $2+ patrons outlining the combat skills of our key DOTU characters. (Strangely, I do quite a bit of my concept work in Microsoft Excel.) If the image doesn't display at full size in Patreon, you can see the source image here: http://bob-artist.com/demon/extras/eselitesoldiers_skills2.jpg A few other random bits of info: -The distribution of skills is evident by the color coding. Most obvious on the surface is the fact that Merritt, coming from a different sphere, has a different skill set than his current allies. -Lol, the "cooperation and obedience" skill is a problem for nearly everyone in the underground. ^_^ Merritt is probably the only 10 in existence. -The "resilience" skill refers to how much a soldier can continue to function while injured. This is how Jackal can get away with being so careless. He's kind of like a zombie. -Whatever Samsid and Troy know about poisons and chemical weapons, they learned through Merritt. We will eventually see exactly how this knowledge was obtained, but not for quite a while. (Merritt didn't share this knowledge willingly.) -With his connections, Merritt can import some poisons from the North Sphere, but not enough to supply his entire team. -Troy is more likely to use his tactical skills against his allies than his enemies. He knows how to keep his people under control. This is how he's kept his position as general for so many years. -These are numbers for the current stage of the story. Some of them may change over time... -When a particular plan involves trickery or deceit, the crew often has to keep Littlehands in the dark because he tends to screw this sort of thing up. With Littlehands, it's best to just give him simple orders rather than tell him the reasoning behind it. -The East Sphere was once much more competent with explosives, but their team of explosives experts was lost under the reign of the previous King. (One went to the South Sphere, but most died.) Jordana is the only explosives expert left. We'll learn more about this in the future.
