Bonus Info - Elite Sphere Identifiers
Added 2016-05-22 03:52:55 +0000 UTCWe already know what sphere identifiers are. They're items that people wear to denote what sphere they belong to. And we've gotten a clear view of three spheres' identifiers in the story already. The sphere identifiers are:
East: black armbands
West: red sash
North: blue tie
South: white band around the middle finger (they will gladly show it to you upon request)
In the East, West, and North spheres, people of a high rank - or people who are specially chosen by their King - might have a special sphere identifier to show that they're, well, special. In the West, it's a slightly longer red sash (boring, so I didn't draw it). But you'll see Gray wearing one.
In the North, it's the double-banded blue tie. The underside of the tie has two bands on either side. These ties are given to specific people whom Mercury considers to be part of his inner circle. The person in question must pledge their allegiance to him as part of a ceremony and then kiss his ring before they are given the tie.
In the East, there are two people whose armbands are different from the standard black. The King's armbands have three straps along the top, and we've seen Samsid wearing them. The armbands made for the King's right hand have five straps with buckles, as shown here. They are currently being worn by one particular ace because none of the other armbands Samsid hand available were adjustable enough to fit his scrawny arms...
