Pogo's May letters have been sent out to all processed patrons, so you should be getting them soon! Email letters have also been sent for those of you who get them digitally, so if you didn't receive it, let me know. May's $10.01 drawing will go up tonight. Thank you so much for your patience, you guys!
I do normally send out the letters in the second half of the month, since they're made assembly line style and this prevents me from having to redo as many steps for patrons whose payments have to be retried, but I don't like cutting it *this* close to the end of the month. It's been an exceptionally difficult month. I lost two terminally ill foster ferrets in three weeks (one of them Monday night), my chronic illness messed me up about twice as long as usual, and to top it off, my Wacom tablet broke Tuesday night, so it was an unexpected $500 to rush a replacement so I wouldn't miss any deadlines. This is the last time I will ever replace a broken Wacom tablet with another Wacom tablet. They are too expensive to be this unreliable!
Anyway, just know that all the support you've given for me to work on DOTU is making a huge difference - literally, you guys are the reason I can still continue to work on the comic - and although the reward dates might fluctuate a little from month to month, I promise that everyone will always get their rewards.
DOTU takes place in the year 2155. In this letter, Pogo shares some information about what's happened over the past 139 years.
Please let me know if:
-you are currently receiving snail mail letters and would prefer email
-15 days have passed since I sent the snail mail letters and you still haven't received yours
-you want to be called by a different name on your letter
- also, If your address has changed, please update this information in your pledge
If you need to reach me, Patreon has been a little spotty with sending me email notifications when my posts get comments, so the safest way to reach me is to send me a private message or email (bob (at) bob-artist.com).
