Previous: Hey guys, we had a MASSIVE number of declined pledges from December. About $80 worth. I lowered the 4x/month minimum wage milestone to account for Patreon's new bookkeeping method, but even with the change, we're still significantly below minimum wage again due to declined pledges.
I'm pretty sure this is at least partially due to Patreon's usual payment glitch, because my outgoing pledges were also declined for no reason at all, and with all the changes Patreon made this month, I'm having a hard time getting them to go through again. It also seems that Patreon didn't send out notifications to everyone whose payments declined. Also, people whose payments are declined no longer have access to my Patreon posts, AND they won't receive email notifications of any new posts I make, which means it's likely that a lot of people whose pledges declined probably don't even know about it.
If enough of December's pledges clear to bring us back above the minimum wage mark, I'll do weekly pages in January. If not, I'll still post the page I held onto from the December holidays, but I'll only be doing three new pages for January.
