Chapter 4, Page 8 + Early Page Info/Decision

I mentioned in the preview WIP last week that this was an 8-panel page, but I ended up spreading it across two pages, so we'll see the rest next week!

Regarding the early pages poll - I decided not to do it for now.  There just doesn't seem to be much interest.  And as many of you mentioned, I too am super appreciative of the fact that I have an active community I love on the main site, and I want to preserve the activity there.

HOWEVER, this does have an impact on DOTU's visibility and earnings.  Unlike twitter/FB comments, comments on the main site generally don't bring in new readers.  Also, early pages are one of the few things I can do at this point to bring in new patrons without increasing my already maxed-out workload.  This makes things harder, but there are things we can do to mitigate these drawbacks, and I can really use your help!

For example, if you enjoy a particular Patreon reward (the latest Merritt's story chapter, the latest Pogo letter, etc.) feel free to talk about it in the comments on the DOTU site!  This would go a long way in helping to get new potential patrons interested.  (I mean, do avoid major spoilers, but talking in general is good!)

And please consider following any of my social media accounts if you aren't already, and consider sharing DOTU updates and posts when you can.  Only 2.5% of my traffic comes from social media right now, so there's TONS of room to grow that! :O

I don't remember if I mentioned this before, but I'll be moving next year and it's going to be a huge change for my financial situation.  I'm trying to build up as much support as possible in advance so I can minimize the chances of having to drastically reduce production next year.  So this is why I'm a little more urgent than usual about bringing in new patrons. ^_^;
