Poll Results!

I posted two polls last week, and we have results on both of them!  So, here's what it all means.

Poll #1

First, we had the public poll for the Lychgate freebie short story.  This one was a landslide.  The winner, with 84% of the vote, is.....

Cat of Death!

So that means that, when we meet our next goal of 20 Amazon reviews for Art of Death, I'll post the full short story.  I'll also post excerpts along the way!

Poll #2

And then we had the second, patrons only poll about which thing you guys want to see next.  The choices were Faster DOTU Pages, Faster Merritt's Story, DOTU Book 1 Kickstarter, DOTU card deck Kickstarter, and Merritt's Story Audiobook Kickstarter.

Faster DOTU pages just narrowly beat out Faster Merritt's Story chapters.  So what I plan to do is guarantee a few months of faster DOTU pages and also try to fit in some extra Merritt's Story chapters when I can.

I'm not abandoning the other three entirely either.  This just means that DOTU and Merritt's Story will come first.

So, here's how it'll work with DOTU!

Faster Patrons-Only Updates

Today would have been a patron page day, but the next page is the start of a new scene, which requires a bit more visual development because it takes place in the *gasp* West Sphere. :O  Also, because I'm planning to ramp up production on DOTU pages, I want to tackle the next scene in more of an assembly line style - doing a chunk of pencils, then a chunk of inks, then a chunk of finals.  I might even do a mini Nanomango in November.  (Nanomango is 30 penciled pages in 30 days. But, emphasis on the "mini" XD)

I'm also in the middle of packing for my move, after spending all last week prepping the new place so it'd be ready.

That means the next DOTU page will be a little later, but then we'll have several weeks' worth of weekly patrons-only pages!

Extended Public Pages (hopefully)

With the faster patrons-only pages, I'll also be able to extend public pages a bit, but there will be some weeks off for holidays.  At most, I'll post the entirety of the Belmont/Mercury/Archer page publicly, along with the first one or two pages of the next scene.  After that, we'd have to meet some milestone goals to keep future pages public.

Merritt's Story

As for Merritt's Story, I'm trying to wrap up the next chapter today or tomorrow, and then it's off to the beta readers.  I'm committed to getting this chapter out on Halloween. (note to my beta readers - no worries if you can't fit this one in, but I'll be emailing you shortly!)

And, like I said, I'll try to fit in faster chapters wherever I can!
