General Update/New Superheroine Project

I wanted to take a minute to give everyone a general update on why my productivity has been so low this month/what to expect going forward. Through a combination of a busy real life and some health issues the beginning of this month got away from me creativity wise. 

My kid is back in school now and summer here in Alaska is coming to an end, so real life is a lot more free of distraction. Meanwhile, I’m getting health issues under control. I don’t want to go too much into detail (it’s all pretty boring anyways) but the important thing is I had started some new meds that had some pretty intense side effects. My body is adjusting and the fatigue and nausea is subsiding, meaning I can get back to regular writing.

I’ll be continuing to cycle through the new story rotation (and hopefully get to all or most of my backer driven stories by the end of the month). I’ve already finished off one She Was Too Low Level story and will be keeping the other one in my “focused” slot to work on between entries in the normal rotation. Hopefully I’ll get that done before the end of the month as well. 

I am happy to say that, after getting back to work, that I wasn’t suffering genre burnout. It was just regular creative burnout mixed with health and a busy life, but I’m recharged now and eager to keep plugging away at all my ongoing Fantasy/Alaria stories.

That just leaves the superheroine story I said I was going to start. I’ve taked some time to explore ideas for a new Choose Her Peril book staring Archbaroness (who won the poll I threw up recently). I didn’t come up with anything that really seemed fitting and am thinking I’m probably not in the right creative space to try and tackle a choose her peril book anyways. But I DO want to write a new superheroine story as my “focused” project once the last She Was Too Low Level story is done so I’ve prepared a poll of ideas I’ve had recently. 

All of these are stories I’m excited to start, and since Archbaroness won that poll I’m mostly presenting ones she’d be a big part of. I’m still not 100% sure if I want to do a traditional story I’d be posting chapter by chapter to a password protected page until there’s enough to publish as an ebook, or if I’d rather do it as a poll driven story publicly. If I DID go the second route I’d be keeping the polls pretty focused along the initial idea presented in the poll, and mostly just using them to help me choose what kind of sex scenes to write (I always have WAY more ideas than I can use). If you’ve got strong opinions on one way or the other please let me know.
