Hello. I'm not sure if you've played Dragon Age: Inquisition but if not I recommend it. It wasn't until after watching your videos and then replaying the game that I got an even better appreciation for the score in the game. If you've played it, I'd love to know your thoughts on the leitmotifs they use for the various npcs as well as their use of diagetic music in one particular cut-scene that I don't want to go into details on because I don't want to ruin it. It always takes my breath away, though. If you have not played it, then I highly recommend it. It's like playing a very well-written movie but one where your actions affect the story.

I was just watching your video on sequels vs. reboots, and thought of an interesting example: in the reboot of Battlestar Galatica (BSG), they play a slow and glorious version of the original theme in the final episode of the reboot, which I thought was a neat musical tribute. That got me thinking that they also referenced the original design of the Cylons in the reboot as well, and then I started looking up BGS tributes in general. There is a reference to Cylons in some of the opening credits to the A-Team (one of the actors was on the original BGS), and a musical nod to BSG in Star Trek: The Next Generation (S05E14 - the whole crew loses their memory. Riker, upon picking up his trombone, discovers he is a musician when he pops out a few bars of the BGS theme song unexpectedly). So that got me thinking that maybe the topics of tributes might be an interesting topic for a video. What are other examples of musical tributes? How purposeful were they? What are the legal rights of media to use snippets or arrangements of music in media before it becomes copyright infringement? Are their instances of someone claiming they used music as a tribute but it tipped over into the territory of infringement?
