February release post (Azsir only)

Hi everybody,

the first batch of the Dwarven Halls is finished and uploaded! This modular set is enormous and should make for infinite dwarven dungeons with a good variety.

The folders contain lists and instructions (that you can also see in the pictures of this post) and a couple of notes on part of the models:

The Doors of Baragun, for example, are HUGE. I have not supported nor test printed the rock structure because I don't think that printing it in resin is a great idea: it would cost a lot of resin and you can achieve a similar result by using hobby foam and a knife. The internet is full of tutorials on how to make rocks like that, and I find it fun and cheap. The rocks in the render were made mainly for presentation purposes, but I thought that I should have included them anyway in the pack. They are also sliced up to fit small printers, if someone wants to embark on the process. The Doors themselves are titanic too, but they make for a really memorable encounter!

The Forge rock structure, instead, was made for printing. It is sliced up, supported, and quite modular: with it you can build structures such as long arched bridges (an alternative Khazad-dûm?!), and you can combine it with the modular OpenLOCK tiles to a great effect and even more variety.

I am still working on Objects, Props, the PDF and the remaining miniatures, which will probably need at least one more week. This month and the next will be really busy for me, but all the release will defenitely be out on time.

That's it! I hope you like them as much as I do: I had a lot of fun in sculpting these pieces and I would love to come back to this one day and make different models and variations. I think I am only scratching the surface of Dwarven possibilities here!
