I think from what the creators have said, Welcome to Derry is planned as a multi-season anthology, with each season jumping back 27 years and focusing on a major Pennywise-era tragedy. I believe Season 2 is expected to cover the Bradley Gang Massacre (1935), and Season 3 the Kitchener Ironworks Explosion (1908). The idea isnβt just Pennywise killing people, but showing how Derryβs human cruelty and neglect set the stage every cycle.

That was such a powerful and beautiful touch. I absolutely love how they honoured Richβs memory throughout the show, especially within this group of friends. It made everything feel so real and grounded. Heβs honestly one of the best characters ever. What a brave, incredible group of kids and what a fantastic first seasonβcanβt wait for Seasons 2 and 3! Also, finding out the actors who played Rich and Marge actually improvised their βI love yousβ in that fire scene made that moment even more touching.
