The tech I travel with as a full-time YouTuber (Ad-free)

If I look a bit tired in this video, it's because I am pretty tired in this video 😅. For the last two months, I have been burning the candle at both ends with endless travel, too many "yeses," and far too much optimistic planning.

Undoubtedly, I have been rewarded for the hustle with continued growth and the ability to pay the bills, but I also hit a wall creatively and mentally that had me crawling through this edit. Despite that, I am still proud of this one--the eight-minute mark I always try to hit was easy to reach, the video has an ad integration for a company that I love (though you won't see that here), and I got to play with some fun frame and effect in the intro. What worries me, though, is just how much gear I lug around the world. My poor back!

Speaking of lugging things around the world, what do you carry no matter where you go? And what other bags do I not need but absolutely need?

I recently got my Polaroid I-2 back out and have been having a blast. Such an easy way to feel something new, again. (If that makes sense haha)

I rediscovered my Fujifilm Instax Mini Evo the other day and it's sooooo much fun. Light enough to take anywhere and taking a quick print and immediately printing it out is a delight. Low stress, easy fun. (It takes on a whole new level of fun when little kids see what it can do – they lose their goddamn minds and love it so much.)

are you a TV youtube watcher??

Saw the notification about the new video pop up at work this morning..resisted the temptation to watch on the phone at lunchtime, got home and could wait no more…well worth it!

I have been tempted by the 6L Wandrd and I didn't need the extra push towards it...

it is comically big! and probably best for all of our backs to downsize.

Thanks for insights. I’m really surprised by the touchscreen. Didn’t know that existed. Will be looking into it for sure. I’m an avid nature photographer (hobbyist) and also used the 550 backpack for a while. Although it is super comfortable to wear, it look ridiculously big according to my wife. So I went for a smaller one, what also forced me to reduce the equipment I log around. So I go out more focussed than ever.
