Added 2020-07-22 10:52:12 +0000 UTCThe Buddhist Temple has accepted our Prayer request for the community! I will film it at 06:30am tomorrow which means I need to get to bed EARLY! Thank you to everyone for the Super Chats and interest in this. The donation was received with much appreciation from the monks. Weโre the only people staying here and itโs really nice to add more support for them. Here is the Shojin Ryori (Cuisine) for dinner tonight. 100% Vegetarian! Really good!

2020-07-22 14:18:59 +0000 UTCI actually attended a seminar on mindful eating taught by the Reverend at the first Japanese Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles. Basically we were taught how to eat like a monk. The food was not as elaborate like the meal you had. Very simple. It was quite nice to learn how a monk eats and understand a shapshot of their daily practices. An eye opening experience.
