Okay, people have asked who these characters are since we just started going full throttle without any introduction on this Oneshot, but this is Chris (mine) and Jesse/Sleek (Mags’) and they’re characters from the other webcomics (that are currently on hiatus) Lucky! And The Collection.

You do NOT need to read all of those rn to enjoy this Oneshot, they haven’t interacted in those other comics and I can give y’all the abridged version here.

Chris is friends with Art who (spoilers, it’s been over two years idk) was secretly a shapeshifting alien, and they’re kinda mad at him at THIS point in the story, but they’re working it out (and they were weirdly setup to be romantic in Lucky! but I ended that at a weird point so moving forward they’re strictly platonic, water under the bridge, don’t worry) and Sleek(Jesse) is another shapeshifter who had business with Art (but I won’t reveal too much of that because I’m delusional and still believe I’ll get to return to lucky and the collection someday) but now Jesse stays with Art while they’re on earth sometimes and Chris is just having a hell of a time running into them on occasion lmao
