Father Sal
Added 2024-10-30 20:18:26 +0000 UTCthe poll isn’t over yet but Salvador is winning somehow so here’s a wip as an introductory post, so yall know a little more about this guy I got to cook up recently.
There’s a lingering threat of a potential Vampire the Masquerade campaign on the horizon, so I made Sal as a potential PC. IMMEDIATELY liked him and decided that even if I didn’t use him for VTM (which I think I definitely am, either way) I wanted to keep him in the OC lineup for personal work, so here he is! Priest turned vampire and absolutely wretched about it.
(I might not keep his entire backstory, I was already told not to go nuts with it so this is just the original concept lmao)
He’s in his 40’s, an actual devout man who’s entire mission in life is to help others, so you can imagine how much he’s struggling with his faith now that he’s been turned into one of the damned. He’s never been married, has no kids, truly committed his entire life to God and the church, so when a vampire from the Lasombra clan makes it a personal project to see how fast they can corrupt Sal - and repeatedly fail at doing so - his life is completely turned upside down whenever they change him anyway. Imagine telling the Devil no over and over again and the devil says “too bad, fucko, you work for me now”.
I just like taking good characters and giving them a corruption arc okay?
