Another homage to a classic werewolf tale, with the TV series of Werewolf referenced by the wound bleeding just before the character transforms, Kayli here suffers the same ailment. She knows she'll become her bloodthirsty beastly self shortly before her transformation happens by having a bit of blood ooze out of her wound.
