March 2023. Update

This is the March update. It's very long, about an hour, but there's not much behind the scenes film as I haven't really been anywhere or done anything. What little I have done Gemma either hasn't been with me as she's been with her dad, or was too worried about her Dad to think of filming me. So, a tad down beat this one I'm afraid.

Wow, so sorry to hear about that lot. Especially Gemma's situation and the House problems - that should be the one place you can retreat from all the other issues in life - and to have all those things wrong with it... ugh.

Do hope Gemma (and you all of course) find some way to move on soon and things get back to some kind of normality soon, grief is a 'b' and know exactly what she/all are going through and it breaks you repeatedly, I had it with my dad who also deteriorated in front of me, and so quickly. Anyway, looking forward to hopefully seeing the Acoustic tour and fingers crossed will make the rehearsals, did one for your last tour 'Intruder' in Brighton and was fantastic. Will be great to see Richie back for a bit too. Best wishes to you all x.

Everybody deals with grief in their own way and getting it off your chest helps you to process and deal with the bad times I send love to you all and hope Gemma gets her medical issues sorted. As a patron were so lucky to see parts of your personal and working life that most fans dont . So if you have to miss a month or so putting updates on patron its not important. We will still be here.

I hope Gemma will recover from this grief. With all your multitasking, please try to take some time for yourself and Gemma. I have never used social media except Twitter,and stopped using Twitter for about 5 months. After one of your patron messages I had to get on Twitter once again to find your North American shows. Please, Please, Please, let us Americans know when/where you are going to be in the future. We would appreciate that very much. I was late booking my tickets to your Seattle show. I will get to see this show with a different point of view. Thank you for sharing your life and thoughts with us.

We care about your and Gemma's lives, and want nothing but the best for you, so we are interested, even in the bad and sad things. My heart goes out to Gemma, having lost my Dad to a similarly abrupt decline only a few months ago. Love and healing to her. Thanks also for the update on everything, and for explaining about the Electric Ballroom gigs (and thanks for the early access to tickets you gave us!). I'm so looking forward to those gigs and especially because Raven's doing support, how fantastic is that. Can't wait for the acoustic shows too. Lots of good things to look forward to. Meanwhile, what's the saying? If you're going through hell, keep going. We will always be here, always care, always be rooting for you and your family. Xx

The loss of a parent is so hard and grief is always heavy . Grief takes time and the best thing someone told me when my husband passed was that " with grief, loss and pain of missing someone, you can not go around it , or under it , you have to go through it "...thank you for the update in the midst of everything and we do care ...

2023-03-15 22:39:40 +0000 UTCThank you for taking the time during this difficult time to talk to us , unfortunately date I say it at our age point this is the cruel part of life where we loose the ones we love and it all seems to happen at the most inopportune times . Lost both mine in a four year spell as well as three other family members , a breast cancer scare for my wife and then the loss of our family home in Hurricane Harvey so I fully understand the emotional mindset . Well Iβm looking forward to getting my fix in Austin Texas that looks to be an incredible show that I think all bands complement each other having seen all three so magic for me , all the best to you and the family
