Here are the next 4 pages of my current project :)
I thought really long about how I could set up the story and the universe it takes place in and went with the good old 'explaining it upfront'^^" Might not be the most interesting way but it can be done with just a few pages^^ So bear with me.
I'm not 100% satisfied with the text yet so that might change.

(As for the grammar/technical part (if youβd like comments on that again; sorry if you didnβt ;v; ) the only thing I noticed is that you say the Lanternfish would do βalmost anythingβ to protect their Lights, and then follow with βabsolutely anythingβ => Because of the βcontradictoryβ feel of these two expressions Iβd personally remove the βalmostβ (as it leads you to think there is a limit they wonβt cross, while the βabsolutelyβ negates that possibility), especially to emphasize the death part that follows~ c: )
