We got back from Burning Man three weeks ago, and I’ve been playing catch-up ever since, including going through hundreds of mashups from the past two months — mostly while driving — in order to bring you this month’s very subjective Top 10, just barely in time for “when September ends!” (And no, that song isn’t on here … but that OTHER September song kicks off this playlist!)
As per my style, it’s pretty eclectic here, with a track I made for the Crumplbangers Hair Metal Challenge, a pair of country mashups from IamJstncrdble’s shockingly good Toby Keith mashup tribute album (who knew I’d have a soft spot for bro country?), a dance floor banger from fnogg made specifically for our 2010s Party last week, a Coolio tribute (made before he died actually), the obligatory Beyoncé track, a Titanic-inspired slow jam, and of course… Cbat, because when did we ever skip an opportunity to troll this list by including a stupid meme mashup?
