2025-09-14 08:11:31 +0000 UTCThese movies (Heavens Feel) are more Sakura focused compared to Unlimited Blade Works which was Rin focused. You'll notice similarities in how they start but slowly there will be more and more differences. Both Unlimited Blade Works (Rin) and Heavens Feel (Sakura) deviate from the original route which sadly doesn't have a proprer anime adaptation. If it did, it would just be called Fate Stay Night with no secondary title because it comes first in the story, and it was Saber focused. That's where you would get the Saber story content you've been missing.

2025-09-13 20:20:38 +0000 UTCif it couldnt be helped then its fine, is what it is with a busy schedule, but these are movies they should most definitely be watched in a single sitting. think if you stopped halfway through jjk 0 or mugen train or others and how that would affect the experience. i dont think the juicys would mind waiting for a better time window to get the whole of the movies. anyways yeah most people in the comments have gone over explaining the situation compared to ubw. just think of this as its own new timeline, small changes drastically changing the events to progress in a manor different than ubw. and as animeke said you guys should have the blue-ray as well to watch in better quality as opposed to crunchyrolls weird encoder sometimes. itll get crazy cant wait for more!

I'll blame this mostly on having the wrong expectations, but you shouldn't watch the Heaven's Feel movies using UBW as a guideline. An entirely different story is being told with unique nuances and you'd have enjoyed this first part exponentially more with that mindset. But don't worry, the story will diverge heavily as I'm sure you've already noticed. I've only read through the comments so far, I'm personally not going to start these movies until all of movie 1 is out. I'm interested to hear your thoughts after part 2.
