fixed spots have been set to debut since 2020 probably ๐ญnew nct unit have been on searches for trainees since 2020, so i guess they just decided to make a survival show to see who suits these two trainee images, bcs they are the identity of the new nct group sm always have done it, they always have trainees they wanna debut no matter what and makes the concept around them or makes them fit the concept

I know with &Team the fixed spots were for people who didn't make it on Iland like K.
