I am just catching up on last week's reaction. I was super busy this past week. Seuk-ryu said the gift of pomegranate tree would remind him of her because her name 석류 literally means pomegranate in Korean. She was born after her mom dreamt of pomegranate tree (remember the conversation among the four ajummas in the first episode?) That is probably why she was named Seuk-ryu (actually pronounced more like "sunglyu")
