Light Shop ep04 Reaction!

Comments

Yeah. It’s a pretty surreal experience. Us healthcare workers essentially have to desensitize ourselves to make sure we don’t get too traumatized while working on the job. Kinda like when cops have to compartmentalize while doing their jobs. But i’m glad atleast the last encounter i had with the patients that didn’t make it had a great time during their care. Pretty much all patients tell me (if they are alert and oriented) that they can’t stand seeing the same 4 walls and ready to be home. I don’t blame them though. I try my hardest to stay out of the hospital as a patient. But yeah, I can’t wait to see the rest of your reactions. :)

Yes! This hits so much! It changes the entire perspective! We can't wait to see where it goes from here.

That's so sad!!! This drama really makes you think about that. And I think those patients that didn't make it were glad that they had someone so kind doing their exams. I can't imagine working in a hospital and having to deal with such things all the time. A drama like this sure hits close to home, and it brings an entire new perspective to think about. We really appreciate dramas like this.

It was this episode that really got me hooked. What started as a spooky horror drama turned into a heartbreaking mystery at the halfway point.

The morgue scene hits hard. It makes you think of alot of things in reality. For me it’s things like how will i react when it’s my time or if it happens, will i realize it has already happened? And as a healthcare worker who works in a hospital, my heart drops everytime i hear about a patient i did an exam or a couple exams on ended up in the morgue days or weeks after i did their exam. Because with most of them when i’ve done their exam(s), them and i would be talking up a storm, be laughing and having a great time. And the last thing most patients tell me before we part ways is, “hope to see you again.” Or “i will see you later.” I will never forget the patient who joked about the name on his wrist band wasn’t his and gave me a fake name to mess with me when i asked him to tell me his name. This same patient while i was scanning him expressed how nervous and terrified he was of getting his surgery. My heart dropped when i saw that when i came back to work days after he was supposed to get his surgery, i found out he coded and passed away on the operating table. This whole show definitely makes you really think about alot.
