That's so true! The characters combine really well to make Baku. I think it's cool that our Twinkling Watermelon guys had this kind of crossover. We're loving this drama so far, but we're getting really worried! Hopefully everybody in this season ends up ok! Love the references too! Thanks for pointing them out!

2025-09-05 19:32:27 +0000 UTCThe thing I instantly thought about when it came to Baku when i first seen this show is how he is a combination of the personalities of Suho and 18yo Yichan from twinkling watermelon. Like he has that fighting spirit with a bit of humble righteousness Suho, but has that boisterous yet comical energy of 18yo Yichan. Many have pointed out that it seems like they crossed over twinkling watermelon and WHC2 together when it comes to Baku’s character. Especially with some references people have pointed out about how there was a nod to 18yo Yichan’s character as the actor for suho played him. Like a few would be: The manga “Slam Dunk” was the same manga that 18yo Yichan was reading in that book store. And then when Gotak asked him who was he trying to be like after that fight in the ally in reference to him trying force gotak to bow to apologize to sieun, Baku said, “like my dad”.

But instead he got what y’all said which was newton’s actual 3rd law, “for every reaction, there is an equal and opposite reaction.” but juntae was thinking, “every good action, a good reaction will happen in return.” I honestly think that whether juntae did what he did or did nothing at all, newton’s 3rd law would happen regardless. If juntae didn’t do anything, he would just get bullied even more and make the bullies more angry. And we already seen what happened when he did do something. The bullies still got angry.
