That's so insightful! Yeah, I think BeomSeok may represent a lot of things. Like, he was friends with him and things turned out horrible and everyone ended up hurt. If he stays alone, stays asleep, keeps that memory, then nobody else will get hurt again. POOR SI EUN! This drama has been INCREDIBLE.

And everything sieun is doing to improve everything will all be pointless again. Sieun is the part of his mind that is trying to hold onto hope for things may change for the better if he chooses to let go of “beomseok” and wake up to keep trying.
