So it makes sense that he has to find the person in secret. GOOD GRIEF! So much is going on in this drama it's crazy! The mix of history and the fictional is also very interesting. Not using the real names, they can take a little bit of historical license that they probably couldn't if they were using the real ones.

She said it was Grand Prince Ji-myeong who she remembered as the one who took the throne. Grand Prince Ji-myeong was Yeonsangun's younger brother (step-brother). I believe Grand Prince Jesan (the King's father's cousin) was not a historical character.
