So sorry Prakash! I thought we replied! Kim Yoo Jung's performance is amazing in this. When playing a character as intense and psychological as this one, I'm sure it's something that will stick with her for a while! I think there's different levels of evil or wickedness. Yes she had a bad life as a kid and went through some horrible trauma. But I don't think that excuses how badly she treats people or uses them. Especially people who haven't done anything wrong to her and were only trying to help her. I'm very curious to see where the drama goes from here, and where Ah Jin will end up. We're definitely here for the ride!

Baek Ah-jin isn't some evil villain. She's not a bully, a serial killer, or an animal abuser. She doesn't do bad things just because she likes it. She's more of a product of extreme pressure, trauma, and the messed-up values of the world she lives in. From a young age, she learned that her worth was tied to her looks, grades, and relationships. In a system that doesn't reward emotional honesty but instead uses it as a weapon, her manipulative behavior feels more like a survival tactic than something done out of malice. It's just the way she learned to cope in a world that sees flaws as failures. Her story is basically a reminder of what happens when kids aren't taught empathy, boundaries, or emotional stability. Instead of calling her evil, maybe we should ask: what if someone had helped her earlier? What if she had been shown better ways to deal with stress? There's definitely a chance her story could have turned into something redemptive—if only she had had the chance. But I feel like the story will end with her complete downfall – or even death. And let's not forget how intense this role was for Kim Yoo-jung. She admitted it took a huge toll on her. She said fainted twice during some of the more intense scenes, and after filming, she said she felt physically and mentally drained—so much so that she "could hardly stand." She even mentioned struggling to "shake off" Ah-jin after some of the more emotional moments. Kim Yoo-jung deserves every accolade imaginable for her remarkable performance.
