V Week Day 03-B: V's Dingo Story Episode - Lean on Me

This was so incredibly sweet. You could feel his sincerity and his KINDNESS throughout the episode. Even if he was competitive and didn't give in, he was encouraging and loving. He endears himself more and more! Beautiful episode!

It's really wonderful getting to have experiences like that, that make our lives a little bit brighter. It's sad you were in pain, but how great was it to connect to the artists in such a way! So glad that you're happy and healthy now, and that you were able to convey that to them. I didn't know that Woohak was in VIXX! I haven't checked out their music in a while, but now I'll have to again. I'm glad things like Dingo Story exist so that artists have a way to connect to their fans in ways they don't ordinarily get to do.

Man... I just love Dingo stories. Speaking of, the one who plays Woohak in Castaway Diva, did one where he spent a day with one of his hardcore fans and it was just sweet to watch. He's from a group called Vixx, they had originally six members, but they have four members now. Cha Hakyeon, (stage named N), aka Woohak, is their leader and actually my favorite member, so I was happy when I saw that you were going to react to the drama, but still I couldn't watch it until after the healing was done~ This story brings me back to a concert I went to 7 years ago, it was for a band called 24K. Their original members aren't together anymore unfortunately. But that day was one of the best and worst days of my life. I went to the venue and I met a few friends. We had vip tickets so we got to get a picture with the members in the beginning of the concert and it was amazing. Then we enjoyed the concert to the fullest, but during the encore my legs started to hurt and they almost gave out. Luckily one of my church friends (now ex-friends) worked at the venue, so she noticed and took me to sit down on the side. (It was a smaller venue, so I still saw the members well) And after the concert, I was in so much pain that my friend had to call an ambulance. I was shaking all over because of the pain. One of my other friends, who I met at the concert, stayed with me through the entire night. She just hopped into the ambulance when I was taken to the hospital and stayed with me, even though she had other things to do, but she scheduled them for the next day, which I will be eternally grateful for. Anyway, like 15 minutes before the ambulance had arrived, I was fighting through the pain and shaking. The members of 24K had noticed me during the concert and actually came up to me. It was... more than a dream come true, it was a blessing. And I was in shock to say the least, and the shock kind of distracted me from the pain. I introduced myself of course, as did my friend and they said that it's nice to meet us. 24K's leader, Cory, who's American, asked about my condition and I explained as he translated to the members. One of them, Kisu, crouched down and hugged me, right then and there. And I was about to burst into tears, because as amazing as that was, I was also in so much pain and it just took the strength out of me. He said that it's going to be okay, and that I'm going to be okay. He then said in Korean that it might take time, but he wants to see me healthy and with a smile on my face. And guess what. About 2 years later, when the members had gone their separate ways and started their solo careers, Kisu came back to Finland and I was there. He almost didn't recognize me, since I had different hair and had finally become healthy and happy, but when I was at the vip group, taking a picture, he kind of looked at me for a moment and said: do I know you? I just smiled and with my better Korean I said yes and explained everything and his eyes went big. Then he smiled and said: are you happy and healthy? And I answered yes. I actually always keep letters inside my purse when I go to concerts, if I somehow get to give someone a letter. (I've done that since my first concert, it's kind of like a ritual) And I vaguely explained in my first letter how their music helped me calm down with my... family situation. After the picture was taken, he asked if everything else was okay knowingly, and I said yes. I gave him another letter where I explained that I'd moved away and that I was in school and had found new friends. I haven't met him or any of the other members since then, but when Kisu mentioned that they all still talk to each other and are best friends, they sometimes ask each other about their fans that they've met. And the other members still remembered my situation and wanted to know if I was okay, so he promised to tell them that I was better and to say hi to them 🙏 They will be guys who I will always support, no matter what. I can't wait for the next concert, whenever and who's it is~
