There are a lot of things that make sense in webtoon form that won't translate or work in specific genres in live action. And I also like that they didn't have him do that... that would have been so sad and heavy! The accident, whatever they're doing with the cat... all of that seems to make more sense. I know someone else who read the webtoon and they also said that they aren't mad about any of the changes made so far, and that the changes make sense.

I thought I wouldn't like the reveal coming so soon, because in the webtoon they revealed in like the third or fourth last chapter and I was crying my eyes out in that. When he saw that Jiwon had died, Jihyuk actually went to the ocean and committed suicide in the webtoon, but I'm glad they didn't do that here. Park Minyoung is the face of suicide prevention in South Korea, I think, so it wouldn't have felt right.
