I binged watched this, yesterday to today and this gets me so hyped for some reason and I'm not one to be into sports.

2024-12-03 22:09:58 +0000 UTCLove how you guys caught on to the fact that Sae wasnโt trying to make Rin give up on his dream, most reactors are missing this because they completely misunderstand Sae as a character. He never said Rin should give up on being the best Striker, and he also never said they couldnโt both be the best at something, all he said was he changed his position, thatโs it. Rinโs overreaction and rejection of Sae is what made Sae react by saying all the wild shit he said. At the end of the day both brothers love each other, that much is clear, but when it comes to who was in the wrong, I feel Rin was more in the wrong mainly because of the fact that Sae clearly experienced something while overseas and instead of recognizing that and asking his brother what happened or what was wrong, he quickly turned to anger and rejected his brother. Both characters are very interesting and are probably the most interesting characters to me right now. I also wanted to point out that Rin equates playing soccer to his brothers love. To him, how much his brother loves him is directly equated to them playing soccer together, if his brother no longer wants to chase the same dream as him, Rin sees it as his brother no longer loves him and thatโs why he reacted the way he did, but that just goes to show that Rin has A LOT of growing up to do. Both brothers have communication issues that they need to work on. Sorry for the long post, loved your reaction though.
