2025-03-15 22:00:19 +0000 UTCnah, sometimes it would push and rush the scene. Like they could have really built up the scenes with better choreography and pacing. Sokka and the moon spirit could have been much more painful and heartfelt if it wasn't like "I'll do it, *kiss, kbye bro". Iroh and Zuko could be more fatherly. The fear of his sister could have been emphasized with darker tones. You have those moments where you cringe just a tiny bit by how simple the plot is being or how childish it feels. I would honestly like them to have a studio redo the anime and reimagine it with a darker and more real feel. It would really be a masterpiece then, bc the plot itself is compelling storytelling, but bringing it to life became very Nickelodeon lol.
