A basement lined with white tiles.
A pool of plastic balls where innocence dissolves.
The dream slips into something darker.

This work was once left in the archive, hidden among the images I filtered out. Revisiting it now, I see something unreal that feels necessary to share.
Olivia lies naked except for her socks, surrounded by a pool of plastic balls inside a tiled basement. The setting recalls a childโs playroom, stripped of lightness and layered with unease. The slide carries her downward into frames that read more like dream logic than play.
The sterile tiles, the hollow echoes, and her drifting body together create a dissonant atmosphere. Play turns uncanny, intimacy bends toward the surreal, and the entire space feels suspended between familiarity and dread.
This fragment from the archive resurfaces now as part of my ongoing exploration of how the body inhabits places where it seems out of place.
