Sounds like they knew each other before the shit that happened with Setsuna. Just a theory but what if Vysache was an Ally of Weathermon, like how Emul is with Sunraku? Like some "He found me as a lvl 1 monster and we lvl'd together" ala Rimuru and the Goblins. I know it's just a game setting but I find it fun to think about.
