Progress Update | 05/08/2024

Hello there you wonderful and super sexy wholesome people!

Another week, another month, another progress update!

August always is a special month for me and this one will be special in so many ways - most of them are positive and there is only one negative thing coming up next week. I'll talk more about it in the next progress update though but I can't wait for my 5 year anniversary as an AVN dev coming up! Sadly, I missed to post more lewds last week, so I promise there will be more coming this week!

Let's jump into the games.

I can now say, with a lot of confidence, that the next prequel "beta" ( that might end up being the first public release for everyone ) will 100% release sometimes this month. I made some amazing progress on the script and the renders are already cooking in the background as well. Todays render shows Amelie in her dorm room, the MC will visit her after he brought Rei home from their date ( if you decided to pursue that path with her, but you really should ). Amelie still has to get used to being "friendly" around the MC, but she is slowly but surely warming up to him. They both decide it might be a good idea to spend some more time together, but alone, so you get the option to ask her for that. It's not going to be a date and it's not going to be romantic right away or anything, it's more the option for you to know a girl better that had quite a troublesome childhood. If you know me, then you know that I like to put these characters in the game for the MC to "protect" and to show them that there are still good people out in the world. Especially blonde women tend to be more problematic for the MC ( cough Jessica cough ) so it will be refreshing to see that things can also be different. It will be a different approach like the usual one because initially, there will be zero romantic feelings involved between those two. But there is always the change that something might happen that could cause the little ember to start the fire of romantic love.. Or something like that.

I also made some decent progress on Chapter 4, but I'm more focused on the prequel right now. The script for Chapter 4 is all over the place right now because I'm not making the events in my usual order. Some of them are written for the "first" day ( that includes the night of the hospital ) and some of them are for the "last" day. I started to work on a very lewd event involving Lena, where the MC will tease her a lot with certain things. He wants to try to get Lena to be a little more romantic and open about these things and it looks like the best way to get her to do that is to... Well, be lewd with her. We all know how crazy Lena can be so the MC teasing her during such a time will certainly be a funny event. Please remember that if you decided to not pursue a relationship with Lena in prior chapters, you will be kinda "forced" to be back together with her again after the MC got his memories back. The main reason is Yukiko, I didn't want her to experience a break up. I hope that is okay, but I might give you an option to skip this part if you really don't want to. I know not everyone likes the "forced" relationship, but from a story perspective it just wouldnt make sense for them to not be together anymore. Like I said in another progress update, I changed a lot of her early dialogue that could be one of the things that some of you guys didnt like about her initially ( the keeping secrets etc ).

And I think that's it for now. Next week I will have some more personal stuff to talk about ( police visit is on the 13th where they take my fingerprints and pictures ) and I will probably make another post after I have been there. I feel like I sometimes need this to "vent" a little to all of you amazing people, since your support always helps me to feel better. Like usual, I will update you guys once I hear anything new.
