Listen I’m gonna just say this. I’m late to this episode. Im fairly certain you don’t read these- but the fat phobia isn’t very “rad”. I agree some people are a little too forward with their opinions regarding a celebrities weight, but some people are more upset about to societal pressures put on fat celebrities. Even thought they outperform their peers, they aren’t considered good enough. And not to mention diet fads and weight loss teas lead to eating disorders and other health issues. So when we see fat celebrities buying into diet culture schemes, it’s incredibly disheartening. But we also need to mind our own business. They don’t work and contribute to rebound weight gain. It’s not safe to make assumptions about people’s health based on appearance. Regardless of size. Don’t make assumptions. It’s not the first nor I doubt the last comment Joe will make about this stuff but it really kind of unsettles me. I’m a huge fan. I’m also a fat woman. I really hope Joe and Frankie wouldn’t consider me a fat piece of shit. You can’t make the whole world happy but fat phobia certainly doesn’t contribute to a happier one. I’ll keep being a patron and I’ll keep listening but please consider reading up on fat phobia. Ahmed, don’t ever stop being you. 🫶🏻
