The little girl is Yeonjinโs (the female main bully) daughter, that bit in the beginning where Our main character Dongeun hit Yeonjin didnโt actually happy it was what Donguen said she imagined would happen many times in the past and such. Dongeunโs mother basically signed a waver stating that she wouldnโt say or do anything about the bullying and would change the reason for withdrawing from school. The reason why Yeonjin isnโt getting in trouble is bc her parents are wealthy and the police are basically in the pockets of the wealthy. Lastly, when Dongeun was at that river (Han River) talking about cramps and hitting her scars river, she was planning on attempting to commit suicide again๐ฌ sadly although Han River is a very common go to place for hangouts and more, itโs also very commonly used for that as well. You should definitely turn on the English subtitles, theyโll translate a lot more things that you may not understand through the Korean subs. If you can/feel comfortable with it, I would also suggest not doing the English dub and just keeping it in Korean, youโll definitely get more emotion throughout the characters.
