Wohooo! Finally, new pages again! Sorry it took a little longer this time 😭 I’ve been having trouble sleeping lately, and that always slows me down. ;_; I ordered some herbal sleep potion and magnesium, hoping it’ll finally help me rest better and longer 😅. Some nights I barely managed 5 hours — my brain was just too ON FIRE!

But enough about me and my little issues! XD

I have no idea how you will feel about it, but I seriously liiiive for this short sequence with Elin and Andy. Short — because, well, it’ll already end with the next update. I mentioned last time that there aren’t that many pages left in this volume, and I’ll need all of them for the intimate scene between Derek and Gogo, so it flows naturally and feels complete.

BUT… I still love this scene so much! Since Elin can’t hear or speak, the two of them have to communicate in sign language. And that tells us one thing above all else: Fucking ANDY RAMIREZ actually sat down and learned sign language for this girl??? He can’t be a complete asshole, right? Or can he? :D No idea how that’ll come across to you.

Anyway, I tried to let the little psycho in Andy peek through here and there — for example, when he casually reveals that of course, he was indirectly behind the hole in Derek’s leg 😅 A delayed punishment for breaking the Fight Club rules by bringing Gogo along.

And then there’s that moment where he looms a bit over Elin and asks if she’s got a problem after she makes that face at him.

At the same time, though, I really wanted to show that… he’s probably deeply in love with her. XD I mean, just look at the way he looks at her eyes?! And Elin being calm and comfy around him says a lot — she clearly doesn’t feel threatened by him. I hope that comes across.

But anyway — next, we’re jumping back to Derek and Gogo, and I’m pretty sure that’s what you’ve all been waiting for, right? XD

So I’m heading right back to my drawing desk now. These next pages have to come out faster 😭 Wish me luck that my hyperactive brain finally shuts up and lets me sleep!

Wohooo! Endlich wieder neue Seiten! Entschuldigt bitte, dass es ein bisschen gedauert hat. Ich hab neuerdings wieder Schlafprobleme und das macht mich immer langsamer. ;_; Hab mir aber so Kräuter-Suff bestellt und Magnesium und hoffe, dass mich das jetzt besser und länger ruhen lässt 😅. Teilweise hab ich nicht mal 5 Stunden hingekriegt. Mein Hirn war zu sehr ON FIRE!

Aber genug von mir und meinen Zipperlein! XD

Ich hab keine Ahnung, wie IHR das empfindet, aber ich liiiiiebe diesen kurzen Abschnitt mit Elin und Andy. Kurz, weil… ja, er wird mit dem nächsten Update auch schon wieder zu Ende gehen. Ich meinte ja bereits im letzten Update, dass ich nicht mehr sooo viele Seiten übrig hab in dem Band und ich werd sie alle für die intime Szene zwischen Derek und Gogo brauchen, damit sich das rund und natürlich anfühlt.

ABER … trotzdem mag ich diese Szene sehr gern. Da Elin nicht hören und sprechen kann, müssen sie sich in Gebärdensprache unterhalten. Und das sagt uns vor allem eins: Fucking ANDY RAMIREZ hat sich hingesetzt und GEBÄRDENSPRACHE für dieses Mädchen gelernt???? Er KANN also gar kein komplettes Arschloch sein. Oder? :D Keine Ahnung, wie das auf euch wirkt.

Ich hab mir jedenfalls Mühe gegeben, den kleinen Psycho in Andy hier und da durchscheinen zu lassen. Z.B. als er eröffnet, dass natürlich ER indirekt hinter dem Loch in Dereks Bein steckt. 😅 Eine verzögerte Strafe dafür, dass er Gogo einfach in den Fightclub mitgebracht und die Regeln missachtet hat.

Und dann der Moment, in dem er sich so’n bisschen vor Elin aufbaut und sie fragt, ob sie ein Problem hat, als sie so’n bisschen das Gesicht verzieht.

Zugleich war’s mir aber auch wichtig zu zeigen, dass… er höchstwahrscheinlich deeply in love mit dem Mädchen ist. XD I mean, wie er ihr in die Augen schaut?! Und Elin ist ja sehr comfy und ruhig in seiner Nähe, was nahelegt, dass sie nichts von ihm zu befürchten hat. Ich hoffe, das kommt rüber.

Aber wie gesagt – wir wechseln jetzt wieder zu Derek und Gogo, und ich glaub, darauf freut ihr euch alle sehr, oder? XD

Darum setz ich mich jetzt auch direkt wieder an den Zeichentisch. Die nächsten Seiten müssen ein bisschen schneller kommen 😭 Wünscht mir Glück, dass mein hyperaktives Gehirn mal die Klappe hält und mich schlafen lässt!
