Whiskey Wednesday
Added 2021-06-23 22:45:27 +0000 UTCI decided on Teeling Renaissance Series -18 year old single malt for this week's Whiskey Wednesday. It wasn't an easy choice! There were several I wanted to try. (Whiskey is almost like shoes! ๐)
This is the first release in a the Renaissance range from Teeling. It was released in celebration of the ongoing Renaissance of Irish whiskey, Dublin whiskey and Teeling. This whiskey was first matured in ex-bourbon barrels, then in ex-Madeira casks, imparting rich, fruity sweetness. Only 9,000 bottles were produced.
I would love to get my hands on this entire collection. So far there are three. This first one was amazing! I loved everything about it. It doesn't surprise me as I have enjoyed every single Teeling whiskey I have tried.
